McGennis Williams joined King & Nordlinger in 2015, and she devotes all of her time to the firm’s landlord-tenant practice. She provides guidance and legal advice to residential property managers and focuses on client outreach and education through training and information sessions with new property managers to discuss the entire eviction process.
McGennis is a graduate of American University, Washington College of Law where she participated in a clinical program with the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the U.S. Department of Justice. While there she discovered an attraction to trial work, which she pursued for 10 years as a criminal defense attorney in Virginia and Washington D.C. Prior to attending law school, McGennis worked for several different legal publishing companies where she managed sales and marketing teams with the goal of customer satisfaction and service. McGennis is an avid reader and gardener. Her husband is a serious cook and they love to entertain.
