Kathleen Donovan Tammadge
Katy Tammadge is a partner and has been practicing law since she joined the firm as an associate in 1992. In the years she has been with the firm, she has developed specialties in business and real estate transactions. Katy has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, disposition, and leasing of commercial real property, as well as with the formation, purchase, and sale of businesses.
Katy was born in Washington D.C. but spent much of her childhood in New York. She received her Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) from the State University of New York at Albany (1987). In 1988, she returned to D.C. to attend law school at Georgetown University and has lived here ever since with her husband, Jim. Katy is the author of “Women Associates Advancement to Partner Status in Private Law Firms,” published in Georgetown’s Journal of Legal Ethics in 1990. Katy is an ardent traveler, who enjoys riding motorcycles, scuba diving, and practicing yoga and tai chi.
